Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT AVAILABILITY DO YOU HAVE FOR THIS COMING YEAR?

Paradise Point Camp is open from mid-May through mid-October.  We are generally unavailable for guest groups in June and July during our youth camp season. Please visit our calendar page for the most up-to-date availability of Paradise Point Camp. We tend to fill weekends 18 months in advance and week days 10 months in advance.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A CAMP RESERVATION?

By reserving Paradise Point Camp your group gets private use of our beautiful 50 acres on the Payette Lake. We provide all meals during your stay in our dining hall and can accommodate up to approximately 120 overnight guests in 15 rustic cabins, 2 canvas platform tents and 7 dorm-style rooms. For day use only, Paradise Point Camp can accommodate approximately 200 guests. Guests may use Paradise Point Camp's non-motorized watercrafts, life jackets, yard games, and beautiful setting for an unforgettable stay on the lake.

HOW MUCH DOES RESERVING PARADISE POINT CAMP COST?

Each group reservation is unique. Contact us with details for an estimate! Paradise Point offers Diocesan and non-profit rates for church members and mission-aligned organizations. You can expect a minimum nightly reservation rate starting at $4,000.

CAN MY FAMILY BRING DOGS?

We only allow service animals for overnight guests. Special accommodations can be made for a visiting pooch (doggie ring bearer?) for short-term day use visits only. Contact us with any accommodation questions.

WHAT IS THE LODGING LIKE?

We are a rustic camp. Camper cabins and platform tents provide basic shelter (no power or water). Guests use the central Bath House for restrooms and showers. Our King Building hosts 7 dorm-style rooms with power and heat, connected by a shared bathroom. Paradise Point has 2 RV sports with hookups and campers are welcome to bring their camping vans, tent camp or enjoy the true summer camp experience in our camper cabins.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE A SPECIAL DIET?

Guest groups select the menu for their stay at Paradise Point Camp. Our food service professionals pride themselves in providing quality, tasty and timely food service. With 2 weeks advance notice our kitchen can accommodate most dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, gluten free or any combination). Paradise Point Camp is a peanut-free facility. We cannot guarantee no cross-contamination of foods due to our shared food-prep space. We want you to enjoy your stay, so let us know of any special dietary considerations for your group.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CAMP?

First, check the forecast for McCall, Idaho and bring clothes appropriate for spending most of your time outside.

Paradise Point Camp does not provide bedding, towels or sleeping bags (mattress pads and fitted sheets are provided for King Building guests). Camper cabin beds are twin sized. King Building rooms have full sized and twin sized beds. We recommend a twin fitted sheet, sleeping bag, pillow, and blanket for bedding.
